Our team undertake various types of consultation projects from condition surveys of historic plasterwork, decorative schemes and historic objects. Architectural paint analysis, uncovering of overpainted historic paint schemes, archival research of decorative schemes and interiors. Antique furniture recommendations and sourcing for UK interiors (restoration/alteration services available). Research and Advice on Decorative Schemes: All our projects are unique and subject to a variety of their own intercut requirements but using a variety of different research methods, we can advise on the historic decorative appearance of an interior and the techniques used. This may be with a view to conserving an existing scheme or recreating a historic one, maybe even a mixture of both. Specification for Redecoration or Recreation Schemes: Our team have an incredible knowledge of both modern and historic techniques and materials. We are more than happy to advise on both and where what is the most compatible/appropriate in each situation. We can provide survey reports for use in the tendering process to ensure the correct specification for your project and the best contractor for the job. Historic Plaster Surveys: We have carried out many historic plaster condition surveys over the years for numerous reasons including advising and providing a report for a tender process, following damage for emergency works, for insurance reasons etc.
